Here we are at five weeks. Gracie is very fussy after eating, especially in the afternoon. But she is sleeping at night in between eating. I tried to get her to take a nap in her crib but she really did not like that. I put her in her cradle and so far so good. She is not screaming yet... She has been going with me to the fitness center in the mornings and we take walks in the afternoon. Grandma Merrill came up today so Jasmine got to go too. We also took a big girl bath yesterday in the bathtub that her aunt Annie gave her. She didn't like that very much either, but she'll have to get used to it. She looks very happy in her crib in the picture, but this is very deceiving.
BIG NEWS
A LOT has happened since the beginning of September. The month flew by, and there have been many softball games, football games, late nights, and early mornings. What has transpired during the past week and a half was very unexpected and even more overwhelming. So, just to put it out there, Gracie has decided to take the opportunity to graduate early and start her collegiate career a little sooner than expected... in January. It's crazy even thinking about it, and the emotions have been all over the place for me. This was not an easy decision, but at the same time, a decision that makes so much sense it's hard to think twice about it. So, all other things aside, here is the story... September 20, after Gracie's softball games at home, we went to the Mizzou football game as a family.
