Where Did July Go?

 Road Trip! My sister and I took all of our kids up to Iowa to visit my Grandma last weekend.  It was a quick trip, but worth it.  I'm so glad Annie decided to go with me!  It only took an extra hour for us with Kaia in the car, so I was pretty happy.  She was the best traveler, too.  All she did was sleep!  The rest of them...not so much. Here we are.  Ready to go! Grandma Jeanne was so happy to get to hold Kaia.   She held her for almost the whole three hours that we were there on Friday afternoon. Are We There Yet?

I feel like this title is constantly running through my head.  I hear this repeatedly in the car from the kids and it sums up my life and my thoughts right now.  I feel like we're never "there" yet.  And if we do get "there" we just need to pack up and get to somewhere else.  I would really like to just relax and enjoy "here" right now, but I'm not sure I can wrap my brain around that at this time.  Maybe I should start meditating or take up yoga.  But when would I fit that in? Last tournament of the summer season Gracie made the All-Star team through the little league organization here in Columbia.  Nick was an assistant coach and they both went to practice three times weekly for three weeks prior to the state tournament in Concordia, MO.  We drove there and back three days in a row for one game each day.  It's a little ridiculous, if you ask me, but I'm not in charge.  The girls had fun together, though.  It was a double ...
