National Anthem Gracie and Adisen - she will be missed Didn't win this tip But we won the game. Pregame preparation Also on Nick's list of skills - ankle taping Won this tip!  The game against Owensville started great!  We scored the first 6 points, but then didn't score again until the 2nd quarter.  We ended up being down 23-11 at halftime and Gracie had scored 9 of our points.  Not a good sign for our shooters. Gracie in the first possession. She got the tip and she scored. Waiting to get back into the game. We weren't able to get very close after the first half and we could all tell the end was inevitable.  It was a very strange end to an equally strange season.  I won't go into details, but there were so many situations that I had a lot of questions.  Anyhoo... the season is done and we were able to pull out 10 wins.  Hopefully our young team will keep improving and we can have a great season next year.  Gracie is insistent that she will ...

Catching Up With Gracie

Gracie's basketball season is also winding down.  They are now done with regular season games, and districts begin this week.  We play Blair Oaks at California Tuesday night.  This season has been challenging in so many ways, but it is great to see a couple pictures with smiles.  The last few weeks have kind of been a mess with the weather and trying to reschedule and add more games. Cami and Adisen next to th...

Gracie arrived at home a few hours before us.  She had softball practice in KC and rode with a teammate, so was unable to watch Owen. Sunday was a pretty uneventful day.  I went to watch tennis and Gracie joined me for a couple hours before she had to come home to go to basketball practice.  Owen stayed home and recovered from the day before.  Two more practices before state competition began. What a week!  I didn't see Owen much after Monday.  They had practice as usual, but Gracie had a basketball game added, so I went to Odessa to watch her play.  It was a pretty late night for her.  Owen went to school on Tuesday, then left for practice in Columbia right after school.  The girls team stayed in Columbia that evening, b...
