I already posted some picture from our fun at the state tournament.  Here is a little more info regarding our road to the World Series.   Practices began around the beginning of July and the girls spent almost every day practicing or playing together from July 6th through July 29 when they won their regional.   We left for state on July 16 and won our 1st 2 games, so had a day off on Sunday before playing in the championship on Monday evening.  Little League is a little different from other tournaments.  The teams are only allowed to play one game per day, which draws it out quite a bit.  We ended up not allowing any runs during the whole state tournament, outscoring opponents 35-0.   Gracie was hitting .778 coming out of state.  All of the girls got a chance to play a lot! It has been so long since I started this update.  So much has happened since our state tournament in DeSoto, MO, which started our journey with Little League All Stars.  I will try to organize this the best I can.  I will leave all post season softball things for it's own post.  It has been quite a month... Here is a picture from back in June when Owen attended the Tyreek Hill football camp in Columbia And there was more baseball in June...I think this was his last game. I'm pretty sure Owen walked almost every time he was at-bat in this game.
