Fun Fall Photos

I convinced the kids to make themselves look decent so I could take a few fall pictures.  They ended up having fun with it and we were outside for over an hour yesterday morning.  By the time we got outside, it was pretty windy and bright out, so I was kind of surprised that we had so many good ones.  Gracie's hair  was all over the place!  We did almost a complete lap around the property and I let the kids help choose where we took pictures.  They also wanted to get some with the horses, but I'll wait until Nick is home to maybe do some of those.  Most of these have still not been edited, but I think they'll be ok.  Owen insisted on wearing his hat that is too small for most of the pictures, but that's alright.   We also took the tags off of his shirt that he has had since last Christmas and refuses to wear.  "Mom!  This shirt is so soft and comfy."  Yes, Owen.  Clothes that look nice can also be comfy.  These aren't in any particular order and I'm not sure what my favorites are yet.

And there's this one.  This seems about right for these two.  Maybe this is my favorite. ;)

We have been busy during the past couple weeks, but it seems like it's just been the routine things that we always do.  Gracie is done with softball and will have her first basketball tournament November 17, which is here in Ashland.  Owen will start wrestling and also wants to do basketball this winter.  We'll see how that goes.

He finally got a hair cut.  This was right after and I cannot make it look like this.
But he looks much better.

Gracie's Halloween costume arrived!

Last softball games.

Nick and Gracie having a chat before she hits.

More pitching from Gracie

Safe at home

We also took a trip to Strawberry Hills Farm to pick out our pumpkins this year. I decided against Lloyd's.  I think the kids are getting too big for that and the pumpkins were so expensive last year!  They had fun and picked out lots of gourds and We'll be carving those soon!

Picture with Tom after arranging their pumpkins on the front porch.

Makes you want to live here, right?
Perfect sunrise last Friday morning.
