Fun Fall Photos

I convinced the kids to make themselves look decent so I could take a few fall pictures.  They ended up having fun with it and we were outside for over an hour yesterday morning.  By the time we got outside, it was pretty windy and bright out, so I was kind of surprised that we had so many good ones.  Gracie's hair  was all over the place!  We did almost a complete lap around the property and I let the kids help choose where we took pictures.  They also wanted to get some with the horses, but I'll wait until Nick is home to maybe do some of those.  Most of these have still not been edited, but I think they'll be ok.  Owen insisted on wearing his hat that is too small for most of the pictures, but that's alright.   We also took the tags off of his shirt that he has had since last Christmas and refuses to wear.  "Mom!  This shirt is so soft and comfy."  Yes, Owen.  Clothes that look nice can also be comfy.  These aren'...

Fall Things

I feel pretty good about this post.  It has been less than a month since the last, and after uploading all of these pictures, I realized that all we do right now is work, go to school, and play football and softball.  The days are getting shorter, and even though it's been pretty warm still, the trees are turning colors and I can feel fall is taking over.  Only a couple more weeks of softball and we'll switch over to the beginning of winter activities. These photos are from the Jefferson City softball tournament a few weeks ago.  It was just a one-day tournament, and Owen, of course also had a football game on the same day.  So we were running back and forth between the two  activities.  After the Gracie's tournament was done, we had the softball team and their families at our house for dinner.  It was a fun night!
