Josh and Julie's Wedding

We celebrated another addition to the family on August 17 when Josh and Julie were married.  Then another addition when Mary had her baby boy earlier this week. Both very exciting events.  Here are some pictures from the wedding.  Gracie, Owen, and Nick were all in the wedding, and I got to be Owen's personal attendant to make sure he did what he was supposed to.  It ended up going really well and the kids did great!

The rehearsal dinner was at the Arboretum in Newton, which was great for the kids.  They played outside for most of the night.  Owen didn't do so well with the actual rehearsal, but had it down by show time on Saturday.  We got to see all of the McNarys and met a lot of Julie's family.  It was a fun night.

Saturday morning the girls had their hair done in Newton and it was a full day of pictures and fun.  As usual, Gracie and Ryleigh loved seeing each other, and Owen always loves playing with Tony and Lucas!

Gracie, Owen, and Ryleigh posing for the camera...looking good!
Nick must have worked his magic getting Owen into his suit.  Owen didn't complain once all day about being dressed up.  He kept asking if he looked handsome.
Yes he did!

Owen making sure that Dad is put together right.  Owen refused to wear his flower.  I was fine with that if that was going to be his only resistance.

This was actually the sign that Owen got to carry instead of the traditional ring bearer pillow.  I didn't get any pictures of that during the wedding, so hopefully I can get ahold of someone who did.

What a good looking group of guys!

Julie sportin' her cowgirl boots...Yes she actually wore these down the aisle.

We had such a great time over the weekend.  Gracie danced and danced at the reception.  I couldn't get any pictures of her because she would not stop long enough and hold still.  She is a rock star.  Owen loved all of the ice cream and cake.  I'm not sure exactly how much he ended up eating.  He also was tearing it up on the dance floor with Lucas and Tony.  I love seeing my kids have so much fun!

Nick took the kids back down to his mom's on Sunday to spend more time with the rest of the family while they were here.  They got to ride horses and possibly go for a motorcycle ride.  I ended up having to work, but I'm glad they got to go have fun.

This is all I have time for right now, but I have even more pics from the State Fair and from the Ames Waterpark a couple weeks ago.  Hopefully I'll get a few minutes again soon to get those posted.  We have a busy couple of weeks ahead of us with Prairiefest, birthdays, and the start of ISU football!
