All smiles! We are still currently living at my Grandma's, but will be moving to an apartment in Ankeny next Wednesday. We are pretty excited about that and Gracie is really excited about the pool we will be able to use. My grandma has been wonderful, but we are ready to have our own space again. I'm sure she is ready to get her house back, too. Our apartment in Ankeny is clear on the north side and right on highway 69, so it will be as convenient as possible to drive to Huxley. We have leased the apartment for six months. At the end of six months, our goal is to have a house built northeast of Huxley on a 3.5 acre lot. We are still in the process of purchasing the lot and deciding on a floor plan with our builder. If all goes through ok, we will begin building sometime ...

Gracie and Dad Loading the moving truck Owen getting a ride on Bullseye Gracie sharing Easter eggs with Spike I forgot to mention that Owen has learned to wave good bye and hello. Nick had him eating mac n cheese the other night and he tried some of my chicken for lunch on Saturday. He is not a big fan of vegetables, but eats about everything else we give him. Owen is crawling all over now and is still a pretty content little boy. He is entertained by his big sister every day. He has been sleeping pretty well at night and most days will take two naps during the day. Some days he still sneaks in an evening nap after dinner. He can stand by himself for about 3 seconds before he slowly lowers himself back down to a crawl. I thought he might be closer to walking by now, but he's doing pretty well. Owen has been sick a couple times in the past month. Early in April ...
