Pics of Owen

Owen in his swing 3 days old

Already smiling at 5 days old!

Sound asleep 1 week old

Never too young to ride, right?

The last week has gone by so quickly. We have had quite a few visitors and Nick has been back at work all week. The first home football game has come and gone, so that is over with. Nick's mom came up that evening to help with both Gracie and Owen. Owen has fallen into a pretty good routine of sleeping and eating. He has been sleeping well at night and for the past few nights has only been up a couple times, usually every 3-4 hours. I can't complain about that at all! I'm so happy to get sleep when I can. We also took him to church this morning for the first time. He was a bit noisy, but did pretty well overall. Gracie was content going to the nursery.
This week will probably be more of the same. Both Gracie and Owen have to go in for their 2 year and 2 week check ups at the dr. We'll see how much more weight they have both put on. Owen already took 4 oz from a bottle today. That's pretty impressive, although I think Gracie was doing the same when she was a couple weeks old. We are very lucky to have two good eaters and sleepers. I hope this continues for Owen.
Owen and I have been taking walks almost everyday for the past week. I took both of them in the new double stroller on Saturday while Nick was at work in the morning. We were out for almost an hour. I'm so glad that the weather has gotten better and not so hot. We can actually enjoy being outside again. We were down at Nick's mom's on Saturday and Owen got to go for his first horse ride, kind of. I don't think Nick walked to far with him up there. Owen slept through it. Gracie got to ride, too, and had a great time. She missed all of the family, though, because they are on vacation. She was looking for them when we got there.
