Playing on the floor Gracie is getting good at sitting on her own. Eating in her high chair She looks so tiny still! At the mall with the girls The past two weeks have been busy with wrestling, shopping and staying with Gramma and Grandpa Merrill. This past weekend Gracie stayed all night with Nick's parents. Nick was coaching wrestling and I got to go watch finals by myself and go out with Nick after the state tournament. It was a pretty exciting weekend and Ballard had five state champions and tallied 220 team points to win the state title. The second place team had 88 1/2 points. Gracie did fine with her grandparents, but didn't sleep as well as she usually does at night. I suppose we'll have to let her try again sometime so she can redeem herself. :) The week before she got to go shopping and helped Mary find her prom dress. Gracie does get upset once in awhile. Playing at Grammy's During the past couple weeks, Gracie has been making lots of changes. She is spending a lot more time on her tummy and is becoming more mobile. Her first tooth came through on 2/6 and she got her second one on 2/10. She really hasn't been too fussy about it. I didn't even know that the first one had come through until Nick's mom pointed it out. Her hair keeps growing and before we know it, we'll be having to pull it back out of her eyes. The other night she drank 9 oz., and is usually taking between 7 and 8oz . We have also tried some rice cereal with her and she seems to do pretty well with this. She didn't spit too much of it out and definitely was able to communicate when she wanted more. She doesn't cry like she does with a bottle, though. She still can't stand having the bottle taken away from her to burp. Gracie and I made a trip down to the Ozarks to help my mom celebrate her birthday. Deb...

She has learned to roll to where she wants to be. I walked away for about five minutes one time and she was about three feet away from her activity mat. We'd better start getting ready for crawling! One of her favorite things right now is putting her feet in her mouth. She tries to get her socks off and will suck on those for awhile, too. She has also learned how to pet Jasmine and will stick her tongue out to copy her when Jasmine starts to lick. It's pretty funny. My dad came up last week and went to the wrestling meet with us at Ballard. It was Ballard's only home meet this season.
