Dance! (Among Other Things)
Grandmas and Gracie
Grandma Deb stayed with us for four nights and I'm so sad that we didn't think to take more pictures. It's always great to have her with us! She took the kids to play mini golf and we planted more flowers, watched baseball and softball practices. She even got to scoop some horse poop!
Owen made it through the end! This is the first year since she started that he hasn't fallen asleep!
Gracie is a solid base to help her fellow dancers do flips!

Jazz
Gracie is in the middle back in this formation, but it was a good pic.
Tap
Gracie is on the right. She lost her hat and her suspender, but that didn't seem to phase her.
Here are the photographer's photos from the studio.

Owen finally has the spotlight!
Owen's first games were supposed to be last week, but his field has been flooded and no one has been able to practice or play down in Hartsburg. He had his first baseball game in Hallsville this week and he was so excited to finally get to play. He played outfield and shortstop and had one hit and scored.
I don't think the other team had any hits, so the game was a little slow, but I'm sure by the end of the season they will get so much better. I believe every player on Owen's team hit the ball. Fun for them! His next game will be next week!

Up to bat!
And...more of Gracie's games. This one is in Moberly. The girls went 3-2 on the weekend. Their last game was really good against a good team from Fulton and they played really well.
This coming weekend is in Hannibal, but it's supposed to rain. We'll see how it ends up. Owen is excited because we get to stay in a hotel that has a pool.
Yep. This will be happening in the fall. Gracie wants to do band and has chosen the trombone. Luckily Grandpa Tom offered to let her use his.
This just makes me happy. My favorite wine glass, and sometimes it's what I need.
Running and wine. What more could a girl ask for?
On to this weekend's adventures...
