What a great month this has been so far!  We have had so many good things happen.  Such as my birthday; it happened.  I would have preferred to just ignore it this year, but the kids wanted cake.  I'm entering the last year of my thirties, and I'm not sure how I feel about that.  Hopefully next year at this time it will feel way better than right now.  I just feel old.  ANYHOW... everything else has been great!  We've had the boats in the water a few times, which is fun, but usually short lived because our pond is not that big.  It's fun, though. So this is me, on my birthday.  Apparently I'm 54 +3; so 57???  Notice the glass of wine to get me through... Gracie happened to be looking at some old pictures on my phone a couple weeks ago and these were her words: "Mom, you look pretty much the same as you did, but you have more wrinkles." Thanks Gracie. The past couple weeks have gone quickly.  Before spring break, Owen had his music concert at school, followed by grandparents' day and an ice cream social at school the next day.  My mom came up and spent the day with them.  They had a great time.  We had a great evening to begin spring break and a pretty quiet week.  The kids spent a few days at the lake with my parents and Nick and I had a relaxed week at work, before the kids came home and we went back to doing our activities. Really nice night right before spring break began. Roasting hot dogs on the fire! They decided to try to use the tramp again. It works mom!!!
