Residents of Ashland!

Just updating a little....

I posted most of these from my phone almost a month ago, so didn't have time or patience to actually write about them.  So, now that I have a minute I will describe what's going on a little bit.

Starting to move in

Still pretty empty.  A lot has changed from a month ago.

Here is the kitchen with everything except the oven/stove.  Notice that the counter tops look very empty and clean.  That has changed a lot in the past month.  We have added a lot of clutter, so it looks much more like our house.

This is what the kitchen looked like prior to the installation of the cabinets.  Nick and I took all of the cabinetry out of the boxes and brought them in to save the workers some time when they arrived the next morning.
Gracie's tournament in Kansas City.  It was called "Monster Bash" and all of the teams could dress up and decorate their dugouts for the occasion.  The girls had a lot of fun.  Our team won the decorating contest.  The coaches were were farmers and the girls dressed up as pigs.

Here they are in front of their dugout.  They only had to decorate and dress up for their first game.  After the judges came around, they could change.

Gracie and Owen got to participate in a fun activity put on by TSF (Tiger Scholarship Fund).  They were instructed to draw the basketball players with a sharpie.  Later, the basketball players came in and tried to guess which picture was of them.  Their reactions were recorded and will be played at home basketball games.

This was the last "Star Assembly" that the kids went to at New Haven Elementary.  Gracie won an award for being voted the most responsible student by her peers in her class.

Another softball game!  I think this was one of the last ones.

Another football picture

One of Gracie's last games.  This picture makes me laugh. It looks like she's trying to tell her teammates what they need to be doing. Who's the coach?

After school on their first day at Southern Boone.

Mizzou football game.
