Daddy is a jungle gym bath time Gracie Owen and Gracie Owen The past couple weeks have flown by. Gracie and Owen got to hang out with me last week while Nick was out of town. That went very well and they were both cooperative for the most part. The past weekend was pretty low key. Nick had wrestling, of course, but I got to stay home with the kids and have some down time. It was nice. Friday night we went to the wrestling/gymnastics meet at ISU. Gracie got to see Ryleigh and they had a lot of fun together. She even posed for a picture with Cy, but that's on Nick's phone. The previous weekend we went to the waterpark in Des Moines. I took my camera, but the battery was dead. Owen did pretty well for about 20-30 minutes and then he was done. I think a bottle was more important that swimming. He liked the water while he was in it though. Gracie in her new barn New Years at the Merrills' Handing out Christmas presents School is back in full swing and it has been busy for the first couple of weeks. Things are finally starting to settle down a little. It seems like we have been pretty busy, but I don't have very many pictures to document that. We spent New Year's Eve and Day with Nick's family, which was fun. Then on that Sunday we went skiing over in Boone. It felt so good to ski again and makes me want to go to Colorado!!! Deb came and watched Gracie and Owen and we took two of her kids with us. I think her younger kids had a lot of fun too. We took both kids to the first home gymnastics meet last Friday. They did great. I'm so glad Gracie has learned to sit and watch events. She got to see Cy again too, although she still likes him more from afar.
