Pictures!

These are just a few pictures that were taken yesterday at Target. I couldn't believe they were up already this morning. I'm glad we have the pictures, but I won't be doing that again for a long time. Gracie did fine during the sitting, but got very impatient while we were ordering photos. This weekend also involved the All-State Music Festival. Nick's younger brother Zachary made it into the band on French Horn. I was going to go, but by the time we were done eating, Gracie was wiped out, so I just too her home. Nick worked at it, so he was there for quite awhile after the event was done.
The previous week, I went to the ISU/Colorado football game, which was fun. I didn't get to stay for the whole game, but I was glad that I got to go. Nick's mom came up to stay with Gracie again while I went. The week before that was another football game, but I didn't go to that one. We have been able to get outside quite a bit since the weather has been so nice.
We also went to Jeremy's senior recital at Simpson a couple weeks ago. That weekend was also very nice. I had a three day weekend because of conferences and it was great to be able to stay home. I helped paint Gracie's new day care, which will open in one week. It is run by the same person, they just built a new facility. It will be a lot bigger, which will be helpful.
Anyway, Gracie is doing about the same. She is trying so hard to talk and make sense. She is very independent and likes to do things her way. I think we could also call that stubborn. She can tell you what a fish says with her lips and she is getting close to telling us what dogs, cows and monkeys say. She has figured out how to throw her shoes and anything else she might have into the toilet and likes to play in the water bowl for the dog. She had stopped doing that for awhile, but is back at it again. She still loves to read and always has to sit on your lap while you read to her. She went back to the doctor to recheck her ears. They were fine, but she has developed a cold in the past week. Hopefully that won't last too much longer. She has two more teeth and I think they came on the 13th or 14th. Not sure really.
We will be heading down to Missouri this week for Thanksgiving, so I will have more pictures later on, I hope. Nick's mom's family is in Florida for Thanksgiving this year, but they will be back Friday. We will get together with them on Saturday. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!
