Nine months old

I have no new pictures, so I stole some from Nick's mom. (Sorry Deb) My camera is still not working right and I have not purchased a new one yet. We were back down in Missouri this past weekend for a wedding. This was fun and took up most of the time that we were there. We got to see a lot of people and Gracie did great. Jasmine even got to go this time. We probably won't be back down until the end of July when we go for Annie's shower and party! That will be fun!
The weekend before that was Dam to Dam. It was a perfect morning for the race and I ran really well. Nick and Gracie got up to take me down and drop me off. They were waiting at the finish line, as well. There were so many people this year! I think there were over 10,000 runners competing in the 20k, 5k, and kids races combined. That's a lot of people in one area. Plus all of the spectators. Annie and Chad were also back in Iowa that weekend, so Gracie got to see them three weekends in a row!
Gracie had her 9 month checkup on June 1. She weighed in at 20 lbs 13 oz. She is 28 in tall now. She is growing so fast. She was very healthy and also has six teeth now. I think two more will be coming through soon. We haven't been feeding her baby food for a few weeks now. She decided that she didn't like it anymore and started swatting the spoon away when I tried to feed it to her. So, I had enough of that. Other than that, we haven't found a whole lot that she won't eat. She is not walking yet, but will stand and take one or two steps, then squat down. She prefers to crawl still. She has learned to go up stairs and has attempted our stairs, but there are a lot of them. She stopped after she got up a few steps. They were able to put her hair in pig tails the other day at daycare. It was so cute, but she looks like a little girl instead of a baby.
Speaking of babies, my friend from work had her little girl, Ava. She was 5 lbs 10 oz. So tiny! We were over there to see her yesterday. I can't believe how small Ava is. Gracie just kind of ignored her and did her own thing. She was more interested in their dog and toys.
This weekend we don't have a lot going on for once. Maybe we can relax and get some things done around home. Nick leaves for Florida for four days next week, so Gracie and I will be on our own for a little while. I will get more pictures posted as soon as I get a new camera!
