Four months old!

Gracie is almost too big for her Bumbo!
...And her bathtub

Gracie loves her new exersaucer!

Let's see... Where did I leave off? Our New Year's was not too exciting. It was nice to just kind of relax a little bit. The following day, though we left for Minnesota to go watch the Ballard team wrestle. That went very well and Gracie was so good. She didn't get much of a nap the first day that we were there. There was just too much going on. The second day, though, she took a two hour nap in the afternoon. I don't know how she did that with everything going on. We ended up staying an extra night in Minnesota because of the weather. I'm glad we waited. There were a lot of cars in the ditch on the way home.
When we got home that night, we found that Gracie had a fever and she was very congested. She stayed home for two days from daycare. So, she had a whole week off from daycare. Nick's mom came up to help watch her the first day and Nick stayed home with her the second day. All she did was sleep when she was sick. She didn't get really fussy or anything.
Gracie went to her first gymnastics meet last Friday. ISU didn't do very well, but Gracie, of course, likes all the commotion and attention that she gets. Then the rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful. Nick's wrestling tournament was canceled due to weather, so he got to stay home for the day. We went down to see Cassie and Jeremy on Sunday. They invited peopel down to watch open gifts from their wedding.
Gracie had her 4 month check up this week and got her second round of immunizations. She has slowed growing a little bit, but the doctor said she is still doing great. She is now 26 inches long and weighs 15 lbs 11 oz. So, she's grown another couple inches and 2 lbs since her last check up. She can sit very well supported and is rolling over from her back to her tummy all the time now. She loves her new exersaucer and seems to like it more than her activity gym now. I kind of like it too, because we can put it anywhere and she can watch what we're doing. Gracie is very vocal now and loves to hear herself talk. She's very loud when she plays. She is still sleeping through the night most nights. There have been a couple times when she has woken up, but she goes back to sleep if we put the pacifier back in her mouth or hold her for 5 minutes or so. She's usually eating about 7 oz now. The doctor told us that we can try some rice cereal, but since she is doing so well, it's not necessary. We're trying to figure out if she's ready to start going to bed earlier yet or not. A couple nights ago she ate around 7:30pm and went to bed by 9, then slept all night.
So, I guess that's all for now. Gracie is doing great and got through being sick. Nick and I are also doing fine and staying busy. We've been digging out of snow for the past week. Seems like once we get dug out from one snowstorm, the next one is on it's way. Gotta love Iowa weather!
